"Le clos des Laves" ( lava cottage ) has a very long history, since it used to be a stable- I think - of an old prieuré of the 18th century.
The house, with typical stones and its enclosed garden near the church has been totally renovated for beeing confortable for our guest!

Near the church, our nice enclosed garden is perfect for spring and summer times.
No flowers (because of the dogs running) but shaded area, and a large table and plancha for eating outside.
Chidrac, typical village 30 mn far from CLERMONT-FERRAND
Our holiday rental takes place in this typical french village, with a bakery, a grocery store and a bistrot.
It is very well located for visiting Auvergne, which is a gorgeous area (vulcanoes, rivers, lakes, fields, very beautiful villages and towns, churches ..)
